At La Tapatia, We pride ourselves on serving fresh authentic Mexican cuisine.

Our menu includes beef, chicken, seafood, and vegetarian dishes. In fact many of these recipes that we use today have been handed down through generation. And out Margaritas? They are the best this side of the border.

La Tapatia dates back to 1937. It was founded by Ernesto and Salome Acosta as a small diner operation from their home on the lot adjacent to the restaurants present location. In the 1960's............they turned the restaurant over to their daughter, Georgia and her husband Ralph Martinez. It is a family restaurant on the true sense of the word. All nine of their children and some grandchildren have been involved in operations throughout the years. La Tapatia is currently owned and operated by Ray & Arvie Alto and Glen and Sandra Charos.
